Maria R. (Salvaggio)Ferrario, a retired administrative assistant, died after a brief illness at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro on Sunday, December 13, 2009. She was 57.
Maria was born in Revere and lived most of her life in East Boston before moving to Mansfield 19 years ago. She was a graduate of East Boston High School.
She worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for over 35 years. At the time of her retirement she was serving as an administrative assistant with the MA Department of Housing and Community Development.
Maria was the loving wife of 39 years to Aldo R. Ferrario, the beloved daughter of Charles Salvaggio of East Boston and the late Asunta (Manfredonia) Salvaggio, the sister of Joanne Murphy of Melrose, the aunt of Kristen and David Murphy both of Melrose and the sister-in-law of John Ferrario of East Boston.
There will be no services.
