Obituary

Robert W. Wold, 82 of Meredith, New Hampshire, formerly of Medway died December 13 in the Lakes Region General Hospital.
Born in Quincy, December 24,1926 the son of the of the late Lars and Elsa (Ringholm) Wold, Mr. Wold had lived in Medway for most of his life before moving to Westwood where he lived for a brief time before moving to Meredith 10 years ago.
Mr. Wold was a graduate of Medway High School.
Mr. Wold had been an electronics technician for the Lee Corporation until his retirement. He had previously worked for the Digital Corporation and ITECH.
Mr. Wold served in the Navy during World War II attaining the rank of Seaman First Class.
He was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed golfing in his leisure time.
He is survived by his brother Roy Wold of San Antonio, Texas, his sisters, Bertha King of Hopkinton, Audrey Besaw of Agawam, May Sleep of Braintree and Marie Pappas of Stow.
He was the brother of the late Arthur, Walter and Lawrence Wold. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held on Friday, December 18 in the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber Street in Medway at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:45 p.m.
Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00-11:00.
