EDWARDS, DANNY JOE, of Louisville, passed away December 14, 2009 at Regency Woods Nursing Home.
He was a Catholic by faith and retired from the Military and Civil Service as a Tank operator.
He is an Army veteran, serving in both the Vietnam and Korean Wars. He was a member of VFW Blevins Gap #1181, an American Legion, and a Mason.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Margot Hoch Edwards; son, David A. Edwards; grandchildren, Amanda Kate, Ashley Nicole, and Bradley David Edwards; brothers, Robert, Johnny, and Jim Edwards; sister, Eileen Ooten; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. -1 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
