Mrs. Aurore (Lavigne McGhee) Kirkham, 94, of Methuen, Massachusetts passed away on Sunday, December 13th, 2009 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
She was born on November 15th, 1915 in Methuen, Massachusetts to the late Anthony and Amanda (Jacques) Lavigne.
Aurore was educated in the local schools of Methuen, Massachusetts. She worked for the Internal Revenue Service and was an attendant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, Saint Theresa Church in Methuen, MA.
She was a member of the Senior Center in Methuen, MA.
Aurore enjoyed spending time with her family, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She loved shopping, playing 45's and Kings in the corner. Aurore loved her special friend, her cat, Jingles.

Grandchildren: Susan, Earl, Jr., Maryellen, James, Michael, Daniel, Heather, Julie, Kathleen and Robert, Jr.
Great Grandchildren: Dylan, Vanessa, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Matthew, Charles III, Caitlyn, Catherine, James, Emma, Ellie, Jessica, Jamie, Josh, Jake, William, Jordan, Isabella and Kyle.
As well as several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 16th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, Saint Theresa Church, 22 Plymouth Street, Methuen, MA.
Burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
