Constance J. “Connie” (George) Voci 68 years, of Taunton formerly of Brockton died unexpectedly at her home on Friday December 11, 2009. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph S. Voci. Connie was born in Randolph, VT a daughter of the late Vernon and Muriel (Brown) George and was raised and educated in Royalton, VT. A resident of Taunton since 1992, Connie had previously lived in Brockton for many years.
Connie had worked for many years as a waitress and in the hospitality industry in the Brockton area. She loved yard sales, flea markets and traveling. Connie enjoyed flower gardening, caring for her cats and especially family gatherings.
She is survived by her children Joseph S. Voci and his wife Teresa of Randolph, VT; Lisa Johnson of Taunton; Patricia Oranellas and her husband Stephen of Bridgewater; Jacqueline Ramsay and her husband Lance of Bellevue, WA and her “other son” Bernie the Cat. She also leaves 9 grandchildren and a soon to arrive great granddaughter.
A Celebration of Connie’s Life will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday December 15, 2009 6-8 pm. Burial will be at a later date in Bethel, VT. Donations in Connie’s name may be made to Taunton Animal Shelter 821 W. Water St. Taunton, MA 02780.
