WAITS - Edith B. Waits, 73, passed away Saturday morning, December 12, 2009 at Baptist Medical center in Jacksonville, FL. Mrs. Waits moved to Yulee, FL in 1956 from Tennessee and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving, devoted mother and also enjoyed watching golf. She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Rual P. Waits, who passed away in 1999. Survivors include two sons, Steven R. Waits (Denise) and Randall E. Waits; a daughter, Lori Waits Kennedy, all of Yulee; two sisters, Elaine Rollins of Lawrenceburg, TN and Ellen Newton of Hazelgreen, AL; and two grandchildren, Tammy Monds and Jack Betts. Graveside funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, December 14, at Green Pine Cemetery. Arrangements by Green Pine Funeral Home, Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, Yulee.
