Obituary

Norma E. (Ingalls) Tripp, 76, of Westport died on Sunday December 6, 2009 at Alden Court Nursing Home after a long illness.
She was born in Orleans Vt the daughter of the late Maynard and the late Winona (Pike) Ingalls and had lived in Westport since 1965.
She was the past president of the Westport Women’s Club, member of Roth Jones Duff House in New Bedford and enjoyed collecting, refinishing and dealing with antiques. She was the owner of the Pine Hill Peddler. She attended the Pacific Union Congregational Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and custodian. She was employed at the Department of Employment Security in Boston as a Head clerk. She also worked at Hoyt Mfg in Westport from 1980-1985, Tax Audit Dept in New Bedford for 11 years, Westport Library, Westport School Department, and State, Federal, School Census department for 17 years.
Survivors include 3 sons: Keith E. Tripp, Kelvin Tripp both of Westport, Kevin Tripp of Wareham, 2 daughters: Deborah Tripp of New Bedford, Karin Collasius of Westport, 2 brothers: Maynard Ingalls Jr of Dayton NV, Dana Ingalls of Marysville WA, 1 Sister: Diana Huckins of Escondido CA, 11 Grandchildren, 2 Great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services to be held at later date. Arrangements are by the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River.
