Maria E. (Sheridan) Tsongris of Stoneham passed away quietly at her home on Wednesday, December 9, 2009. She was 82 years of age.
Born in Stoneham, Maria was the daughter of the late Mary E. (Mahoney) Sheridan and William E. Sheridan.
Maria was a graduate of Stoneham High School. Shortly after High School she worked at the Hillview Country Club as the hostess. Maria was a security officer for Stop & Shop for many years. She worked for the Woburn Police Department as a matron. She was currently employed at Moore & Parker News in Woburn Center.
Dear sister of Helen of Arizona, Constance of Abington, Paul K. Sheridan of North Reading, Richard D. Sheridan of Casanoa, NY and the late William E. Sheridan, Jr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Friday, December 18, from 5-6 pm followed by a Funeral Service Celebrating Maria’s Life at 6:00 pm in the Chapel of the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM.
