Hien Vo, 84, of Tifton died Tuesday, December 8, 2009, at Tift Health Care. Graveside funeral services will be held from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2009 in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Family members will provide eulogies.
Mr. Vo was born on November 25, 1925 in Danang, Vietnam and was the son of Vinh Van Vo and The Thi Le, both deceased. He was a retired Major and of the Buddhist religion. He had lived in the United States for 19 years.
Mr. Vo is survived by his wife, Lien Thi Le of Tifton; five sons, My Quang Vo, Mai Quang Vo, Ngoc Quang Vo, Nam Quang Vo, Hiep Quang Vo; eight daughters, Minh Thi Caseman, Chau Thi Vo, Oanh Thi Vo, Yen Thi Vo, Tuyet Thi Vo, Hanh Thi Vo, Huong Thi Tran and Hoa Thi Nguyen; five brothers, Ba Van Vo, Thu Huu Vo, Dong Manh Vo, Ton Dai Vo, Phuoc Thanh Vo; one sister, Xuan Thanh Thi Vo; 24 grandchildren, Dung Kim Vo, Hien Quang Vo, June Ho Shin, Sung Ho Shin, Robert John Caseman III, Isabel Kristina Vo, Ivana Kristy Vo, Anh Quoc Vo, Huy Hung Ho, Hieu Huy Ho, Dung Ngoc Bui, Long Thanh Bui, Le Vy Tran, An Thuy Tran, Phuong Quynh Tran, Anderson Patrick Vo, Khoa Van Nguyen, Khoi Anh Nguyen, Quynh Tuyet Nguyen, Jordan Mai, Adeline Tran, Benjamin Tran, Elaine Anh Nguyen and William Alexander Vo; and 11 great grandchildren.
