Arthur L. Yetman, of Plymouth formerly of Cambridge, passed away on December 7th at the age of 73 at Jordan Hospital. He is survived by his beloved wife Judie (MacNeill) of Cambridge and his children Brian Yetman of Cambridge, Lawrence Clinton of Westboro, Darlene Marchand of Reading, Brian Clinton of Cambridge, Tammy Leakas of Longmont, CO; Stephanie Hurley of Sagamore Beach, Gail Clark of Portsmouth, NH and Barry Clinton of Cambridge. He also leaves 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Arthur joined the U.S Army and served in the Korean Conflict as well as the National Guard. Arthur was a Cambridge police officer for over 15 years before retiring due to severe cardiac illness. He had been the past president of the Patrolman’s Association and the Cambridge Police Union for many years, as well as the Mutual Aid and a member of the Elks. He and his wife moved to Plymouth in 1989 where he continued working for the MBTA at “the Ride”. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandson. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 11th at the 2nd Church of Plymouth in Manomet at 11 AM followed by burial at Manomet Cemetery. There are no visiting hours.
