Manchester-David M. Johnson, 72, died December 5, 2009 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Melrose, MA on November 10, 1937.
He served in the US Air Force. Prior to his retirement he owned and operated Dave Johnson & Son Carpentry, in Reading, MA..
Members of his family include his wife Muriel Johnson of Manchester, NH, and her three children Ryan , Lisa and Jay Girard and his three sons David Johnson, Greg Johnson both of Hampton, NH. Eric Johnson of Billerica, MA., one daughter Krista Bowan of Lynn, MA., one brother, Lee Johnson of Keene, NH.
IN HIS LIFE: He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, his family and friends were his life. He will be remembered as a loving, kind, generous, compassionate person, a selfless man always doing what he could to help others. He enjoyed old black & white classic movies, M&M’s peanuts and music. He also leaves six grandchildren, Matthew, Daniel, Samuel, Daryl, Alanah, and Katie.
There are no calling hours.
Military services were held at the NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
