Betty M. (Draycott) Tripp, 80, of Medway, died Friday, December 4, 2009 at her home. She was the wife of Jesse E. W. Tripp who died in 1998.
A resident of Medway for the past 2 years, Mrs. Tripp formerly resided in Bellingham for many years.
She was a nursing assistant at Wrentham State School for 20 years, retiring in 1994. After retirement she worked at the former Filene’s Department Store in Framingham.
Mrs. Tripp enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by three sons, Robert Draycott Jr. of Medway, Dale Draycott of El Paso, TX and Bryant Draycott of Boston, a daughter, Sharon Villa of Hopedale and many grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Dean Draycott.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, December 8 from 5 – 8 p.m. in the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway.
Graveside services will take place on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
