Florence L. (Trebino) Tutela, of Medford, formerly of Somerville died Friday at Courtyard Nursing Home after a long illness. She was 97.
Florence was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Ceasar and the late Sylvia (Spinetti) Trebino. Florence lived much of her life in Somerville and Medford. Florence was devoted to her family and loved to cook and bake. She also enjoyed art and playing the piano.
The beloved wife of the late Diamante E. Tutela, Florence was a devoted mother to Sylvia-Jean Butera and her husband Dominic of Medford, Elaine E. Cesario and her husband Raymond of Reading, Diamond C. Tutela and his wife Leila of Stoneham, the late Barbara Accaputo and Vincent Tutela. She was a loving grandmother to Raymond, Dominic, James, Dianne, David, Michelle, John, Joy, Julia and a loving great-grandmother to 17 great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Charles L. Trebino of Arlington, the late Rena Guinasso, Tillie DePinto and Dora Guazzaloca. She was a devoted aunt to Carol Ferraguto and many other loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Mass in celebration of Florence’s life, Wednesday December 9th in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, at 11 AM. Visiting hours are kindly omitted. Burial is also private. Please omit flowers.
