Elsie W. Trull, 90Founder of Elsie Trull’s Flower StudioNASHUA, NH: Elsie W. (King) Trull, age 90, a former longtime resident of River Road in North Tewksbury and founder of Elsie Trull’s Flower Studio formerly of North Tewksbury, died Wednesday, September 10, 2003 at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH. She was the widow of J. Arthur Trull who died April 16, 1999. Born in Tewksbury on October 3, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Harry C. and Alice L. (King) King. Mrs. Trull was raised in Tewksbury and attended Tewksbury schools. She was graduated from Lowell High School in 1929. Following graduation, she entered Elsie Cutter’s School of Floral Design formerly of Gloucester. In 1946, she founded Elsie Trull’s Flower studio in North Tewksbury, which she operated for many years. Prior to her retirement in 1978, she worked with her family at the former Trull’s Mill Hill Florists of North Tewksbury. Mrs. Trull lived in Nashua, NH since 1998. She previously spent the summer months in New Durham, NH and wintered in Avon Park, FL. Mrs. Trull lived most of her life in Tewksbury and was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Tewksbury. She was an avid gardner and a former past president of the Alton Bay Garden Club of New Hampshire. She is survived by 2 sons; Joel A. Trull and his wife Joan (Small) with whom she resided of Nashua, NH and Gerald W. Trull and his wife Sandra (Hayes) of Lincoln, NH; 10 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; also many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Trull was the sister of the late Robert U. King. Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Graveside Service on Saturday, Sept. 13th at 11 a.m. at the Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church, 1500 Andover St., Tewksbury, MA 01876 would be appreciated.
