Janet O. Waterman, 60, of Chester, NH died Thursday December 3, 2009 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. Janet was born in Winchester, MA on April 2, 1949, daughter of the late Robert N. and Margaret (Danskin) Oxford. She had resided in Chester since 2006, formerly living in Tucson, AZ and Windham, NH. Janet retired this year from Raytheon Corp. after 21 years employment in Andover, MA and Tucson, AZ. Janet loved her family and her four Yorkshire Terriers. She also enjoyed crafts and antiques.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Charles R. Waterman of Chester, her daughter, Carolyn M. Waterman of Chester, two sons, Daniel N. Waterman of Tucson, AZ and Christopher R. Waterman of Rochester, NH, her grandson, Kaleb Waterman of Chester, her brother, Robert Oxford, her sister, Carolyn Schneider, several nieces and nephews. She also leaves two dear friends, Anita Kitchens and Judy Munson.
Calling hours were held on Monday December 7, 2009 from 5 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 10:00am in the funeral home. Burial followed in Great Hill Cemetery, Chester.
