In Taunton, December 3, 2009 William J. Kelley husband of the late Bernice (Duffy) Kelley died suddenly at his home on Highland Street in Taunton at the age of 91. Born in Taunton, William was the son of the late William J. and Loretta J. (Rafferty) Kelley. William was educated at St. Mary’s High School and received his bachelor’s degree at N.Y.U. and his master’s degree at Columbia University. He worked for the U.S. Government for the Department of Labor as an Economist. William was the brother of Margaret Pasterchek of N.Y. and the late Thomas, Francis, Robert and Rosemary Kelley. Uncle of Many Nieces and Nephews. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Monday, December 7th from 9 am to 11 am. A funeral Mass will be held at St Nicholas of Myra Church in Dighton at 11:30 am. Interment will be at the Arlington National Cemetery in Washington D.C.
