Niarhos, Sylvia A. (nee Vouvalides) age 90 of Bogota, formerly of Maywood and Hackensack died Tuesday December 1, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Peter Niarhos. Devoted mother of John and his wife Marie, Tedd and his wife Mary Rose. Loving grandmother of Catherine, Peter, Elizabeth, Min, Young and Luke. Dear sister of Louis Vowvalides and his wife Tessie. Refore retiring in 1982, Sylvia was an office manager at Salem Paints in Hackensack. She was a member of St. Anthony Orthodox Church in Bergenfield. Funeral service Monday December 7, 2009, 10:00AM at St Anthony Orthodox Church, 385 Ivy Lane, Bergenfield, NJ 07621. (all to meet at church) Family and friends may visit Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell, NJ on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9PM.
