Obituary

Ann N. (Normile) Walsh 78, a Franklin resident for over 50 years, died Wednesday December 2, 2009 at the Milford Care & Rehabilitation Center following a long illness. She was the wife of Francis L. Walsh.
Born in Arlington, June 13, 1931 a daughter of the late John A. and Lena F. (Baker) Normile, she was raised and educated in Belmont. Mrs. Walsh retired in 1995 from the Franklin Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where she worked for more than 25 years as a licensed practical nurse.
She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, and a past president of St. Mary’s Catholic Women’s Club. She was also active in the Franklin Senior Citizens.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 56 years are two sons, Stephen G. Walsh of Boxford and David M. Walsh of Middletown, Connecticut, three daughters, Karen F. Walsh of Oakland, California, Donna M. Martel of Franklin, and Patricia E. Walsh of Berkeley, California, a brother John A. Normile Jr. of Dover, New Hampshire and seven grandchildren, Davis, Caitlin, Daniel, Emily & Aidan Walsh, Eileen and Peter Segreve.
She was the mother of the late Peter E. Walsh who died in 1984, and the sister of the late Patricia Normile.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Saturday December 5th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, (www.oterifuneralhome.com) with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. at 10AM.
Interment will follow at the family lot in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Calling hours are Friday December 4th, from 4-8PM.
