Dolores J. Allicon, RN, 84, of Methuen died on Friday November 20, 2009 at Lawrence General Hospital. Dolores was born and raised in Lawrence and was a 1942 graduate of Lawrence High School and a 1946 graduate of Lawrence General Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at Lawrence General Hospital for 41 years. She retired in 1987. Dolores was an active member of Lawrence General Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association. She enjoyed traveling and reading.
Dolores leaves her extended family, John and Joanne Gallagher, Robert and Diane Gallagher, Susan Gallagher, William and Donna Gallagher, William Gallagher, Peter Haller, Arthur Hembrough, Lynda Hembrough, Dot and Ralph Holt, Agatha Lane, William Lane, Jamie Lane, Herb and Carol Semple and John and Judith Zmud. She was pre-deceased by many family and friends who loved her including Mary Gallagher.

Friends may call on Tuesday November 24, 2009 from 10 to 11am at The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen .
