TAUNTON – Robin Ann Lopes, 44, died at Morton Hospital & Medical Center on Nov. 28, 2009.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of Robert and Jo-Ann A. (Gonsalves) Lopes.
Educated in Taunton schools, she attended Martin Middle School, and Taunton High School.
Robin was employed most recently as a home health aide, until retiring due to disability in 2003. She had also worked for the Frank Noone Shoe Co., and the Rennie Curtain Factory.
A former member of the Taunton Girls Club, she was a communicant of St. Anthony Church, and enjoyed music, roller-skating and ice-skating.
Besides her parents, she leaves three daughters, Krystal L. Lopes, Amanda L. Melendes, and Alyssa A. Melendes, all of Taunton; a grandson, Keyon Council, Jr. of Taunton; and several aunts and uncles.
Also surviving are her godmother, Mary Lou Antone of Newport, RI; her godfather, James Fontes of Taunton; and her fiance, Harold Martinez of Taunton.
She was also the sister of the late Robert A. Lopes.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Thursday, Dec. 3rd at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at St. Anthony Church at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
