William J. Mester and his late wife Rose provided a great family life for Bill, Jr., Greg, Karen, Joan and Joe; with a legacy that continues with 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He was always developing new ideas at home, in his garden and at work at Rowan Contoller Co. His use of common sense and experience permitted the accomplishment of much during his lifetime of 99 years. His many years working with the Long Green Volunteer Fire Co., St Johns' Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus were very beneficial to many of his neighbors and friends. Dad, Pop, Great Pop, Bill will always be remembered.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Monday, November 30th from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9p.m. All are invited to atend a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, December 1st in St. John the Evangelist, Hydes at 10a.m. Interment in St. John Evangelist Church Cemetery.
