David T. Fitzpatrick of Reading passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at his home. He was 82 years of age.
Born and raised in Medford, David lived his adult life in Reading. He was a graduate of Northeastern and was a CPA for several firms in the Boston area.
He was a veteran of World War II, US Navy.
David was the beloved husband of Grace C. (Graffeo) Fitzpatrick. He was the devoted father of Lawrence E. Fitzpatrick and his wife Claire of Maryland, Alicia Fitzpatrick, John P. Fitzpatrick and his wife Mihaela, all of Reading. David was the cherished grandfather of David M. Fitzpatrick, Elizabeth E. Fitzpatrick and Carolyn N. Fitzpatrick, all of Maryland. He was the dear brother of the late Lawrence E., Francis, Paul, John, Richard, Arthur, Robert and Helena Fitzpatrick and Margaret Chester. David was the loving son of the late Lawrence E. Fitzpatrick and Alice (O’Malley) Fitzpatrick. He was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass celebrating David’s life will be held on Saturday at 12pm in Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church, 270 Elliot St. NEWTON. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. The Family also extends an invitation for a reception at the family home in Reading following the services.
