Mary Catherine (Bogard) Ashby, 68, beloved wife of Lawrence M. Ashby, Jr., passed away Thursday, November 26, 2009.
Born in Louisville, KY, she was the daughter of the late James and Levenia Bogard.
Other than her husband, she is survived by her sons, Lawrence Wayne, Kenneth James and Paul Steven Ashby; grandchildren, Lisa Marie, David Wayne, Steven Parker, Elizabeth Renee and Jason Ashby; great-grandchildren, Noah and Jonah McNamee; brothers, James and Allan Bogard; and sisters, Shirley B. Taliaferro and Deborah Faye Lutterman.
Her funeral service will be 11 am Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be 2-8 pm Monday. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences at www.owenfuneralhome.com
