O'CONNOR, Robert John Of Wellesley Hills, passed away Nov. 21, 2009 at home. Loving husband of Theodora "Pippy" O'Connor. Survived by his sons, Robert J. O'Connor of Needham, Edward T. O'Connor of Wellesley. Brother of Thomas J. O'Connor, Jr. of Merrimac, MA. Devoted grandfather of Liam Phelps O'Connor and Brigid Phelps O'Connor of Needham. Born to Thomas J. O'Connor and Anne (Murphy) O'Connor and raised in Medford. Graduate of Medford High School, class of 1950, Bentley College class of 1952. Served his country as a Corporal in the US Army in Korea, honorably discharged in 1952 and earned his MBA at Northeastern Graduate School of Business. Dedicated most of his career to NASA and to the US Dept. of Transportation. Founder of Creative Sports Designs of Wellesley. Enthusiastic coach of Wellesley Town Baseball and Football. President of Wellesley Little League 1985-1988. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the individual's charity of choice. Funeral from the George F.
