WEBSTER – Eileen T. (Peters) Jacobson, 98, of Poland Street, died Tuesday, November 24, in Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after a short illness.
She leaves 2 sons, Kenneth H. Jacobson of Webster, with whom she lived, and Clifford E. Jacobson of Worcester; a daughter, Edith H. Brooks of Shrewsbury; a sister, Eleanor Nordstrom in Florida; 17 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a great great grandchild; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
She was born in Fitchburg, a daughter of Isaac and Matilda (Plouffe) Peters. She lived in Paxton and Sturbridge before moving to Webster in 1981.
She was a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking and sewing.
The funeral, private for family members only, will be held Saturday, November 28, at 10:30 AM in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. Calling hours are from 6:00 to 9:00 Friday, November 27, in the funeral home for family members only.
