He was born in Barren County, KY to Lemmie & Edna (Smith) Walbert.
He was Owner/Operator of Derby City Livestock Trucking and was a Baptist by faith.
He was preceded in death by his Father and 1 Son: Ricky Allen Caple & a Brother: Roger Walbert & a Sister: Barbara Bragg.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Mae L. (McDonald) Walbert; 3 Sons: Carl E. Walbert Jr., James Earl (Deborah) & Donald Wayne (Melissa) Walbert. 4 Daughters: Donna Mae Caple, Debra Jo Coffelt (Mikey), Teresa Mae Jeter (Chris) & Melissa Dawn Teeters (Larry). 17 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. 3 Brothers: Ronald (Sue), Russell (Patty) and Ricky Walbert. 3 Sisters: Dorothy Burris, Rebecca Lashley, & Patty Bertrum (Gary).
Funeral Services will be Private. Visitation will be Sunday 2 - 8 PM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
