Regina A. White, 60, of Derry, NH, died Thursday, November 19, 2009 in the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH. Mrs. White was born in Boston, MA on February 27, 1949, daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Malone) Walker. She grew up in Charlestown, MA and graduated from the Academy of St. Anne in Marlboro, MA. She worked for the Boston Police Dept. in the identification section. In 1971 she married David A. White in Charlestown. The moved to Derry in 1976. Mrs. White worked as a cashier for Shaw's in Derry, retiring in 2006. She enjoyed knitting and playing bingo.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, David A. White of Derry, a son, Daniel J. White of S. Korea and a daughter, Christine M. Whalen and her husband Michael J. of Columbus, OH as well as other close friends and family.
Calling hours were held from 4-8pm Monday, November 23, 2009 in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated 10:00am Tuesday in St. Thomas Aquinas, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry. The burial was at 1:00pm in St. Joseph's Cemetery, 990 LaGrange St., W. Roxbury, MA.
