Rita Ann Williams, 73, of Summerville, wife of Robert J. Williams died Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 Friday, November 20, 2009 at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Rite of Committal will be held in Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus, Indiana.
Friends may visit at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Thursday evening.
Rita was born October 4, 1936 in Richmond, Indiana, a daughter of the late Floyd and Mary Hennigar Smith. She was a graduate of New Madison High School in Ohio, the University of Dayton and IUPUI in Columbus, Indiana. She enjoyed water and oil painting, basket weaving, square dancing and round dancing. She retired as a teachers assistant and was a member of St. John the Beloved Catholic Church.
Rita is preceded in death by her son Michael.
Surviving in addition to her husband are: son: David Williams of Summerville, daughters: Ann Williams of Columbus, Indiana and Sharon Cocuzza and her husband David of Somerset, New Jersey, grandsons: Michael Cocuzza and Alexander Cocuzza both of Somerset, New Jersey, brothers: Jerald Smith of Kettering, Ohio and James Smith of New Madison, Ohio and sister: Nancy Cohee of Fishers, Indiana.
