Obituary

Robert J. Keith of Plymouth, formerly of Holbrook and Stoneham, passed away on November 13th at Jordan Hospital at the age of 67. He is survived by his beloved wife Angela (Bongiovianni) of Plymouth and his 3 children Robert H. Keith and his wife Jacqueline of Brockton, Katherine M. Felpel and her husband Richard of Methuen and Angelica M. O’Toole and her husband Seamus of Newburyport. He also leaves his 3 granddaughters Doratea and Elora Keith and Alyssa Felpel and his 2 sisters Anne Paiva-Thibeault and her husband Edward and Joan Powers and her husband Tom and many nieces and nephews. Robert was born in Brockton and graduated from Holbrook High School. He earned his bachelors degree at Bridgewater State College, graduated from Stonehill College and received his masters at Boston University. He served in both the U.S Navy and U.S Army, which he served in for over 30 years, retiring as a Sergeant First Class. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Holbrook and Blessed Kateri in Plymouth, where he enjoyed singing in both choirs. Robert also enjoyed collecting stamps, genealogy and especially spending time with his children and grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 18th at Blessed Kateri Church on South Meadow Rd, Plymouth at 10:30 AM followed by burial. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, November 17th at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St, (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth from 4 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Blessed Kateri Church, 126 South Meadow Rd, Plymouth, MA 02360, the Salvation Army, 8 Carver St, Plymouth, MA or to the Perkins School for the Blind, 175 North Beacon St, Watertown, MA 02472.
