Linda C. Wise, 61, of Fitzgerald, died Friday, November 13, 2009, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 5 PM, Monday, November 16, 2009 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Schluckebier officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-5 Monday afternoon prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
Ms. Wise was born January 18, 1948 in Miami, Florida to the late James Morgan and Dorothy Mae Kinnett Wise. She lived in Fitzgerald since June coming from Lake City, Florida. She was an LPN having worked at the VA Hospital in Lake City and the Lake City Medical Center until ill health forced her retirement in 2000. She was of the Lutheran faith.
Ms. Wise is survived by her brothers: James M. Wise, Jr. of Lake City, Florida and Larry R. Wise of Marathon, Florida; three nephews, two nieces; and a host of cousins in the Fitzgerald area.
