TEWKSBURY - Rosalie A. "Rose" (Aloisi) Ebner, age 67, a Tewksbury resident for the past four decades, died Friday morning, November 13, at Saints Medical Center in Lowell, following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Adolph J. Ebner, with whom she had celebrated a 26th wedding anniversary this past May 21st.
She was born in Boston, August 29, 1942, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Mary (Vagilica) Aloisi, and raised in Waltham. She moved to Tewksbury in 1963.
She was employed as a photographer by the O'Connor Studio in Tewksbury, which provided numerous communities, private schools, and colleges with portrait photographs.
She was known in the area for her love of Bingo, and was a frequent visitor to the slot machines at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut.
She was the beloved mother of seven children by her marriage to her late husband, Ronald J. Harris; Linda Abraham and her husband Edward of Londonderry, NH, Ronald J. Harris Jr. of Tewksbury, the late Stephen J. Harris, Robert J. Harris and his wife Donna (Amatuccio) of Hartsville, SC, Lisa J. Cote and her companion Daniel Ingersoll of Tewksbury, Richard J. Harris and his fiance Michelle Ravgiala of Salem, NH, Shawn J. Harris and his fiance Jayne Jacques of Derry, NH, nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Theresa Rivers of Hartsville, SC, Marie "Re Re" Wall and her husband James of Merrimack, NH; and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service was held on Sunday evening, Nov. 15, in the funeral home. Cremation services will be private. Memorials to the American Lung Assn., 460 Totten Pond Rd., Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451 will be appreciated.
