Clyde T. Wilson, 94, of Tifton died Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at Heritage Health Care in Ashburn. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 13, 2009, in Macon Memorial Gardens. Rev. John Hughes will officiate with entombment to follow in Macon Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Mr. Wilson was born on July 17, 1915 in Louisa, Kentucky and was the son of Charlie Wilson and Minnie Kelly Wilson, both deceased. He worked for Martin Marietta Corporation and later retired from Allied Products Company. He was also a veteran of World War II.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Louise Frances Smeltzer Wilson of Tifton; one son, Ernest G. McReynolds of Beaverton, Oregon; one daughter, Linda Humphries of Marietta; one niece, Phyllis Hall of Columbus; and four nephews, Paul Wilson, Kenneth Wilson, Dean Wilson and Bobby Wilson, all of the Columbus, Ohio area.
