Mrs. Pauline D. Andrews (Gaffey) 68, of Medford died on Sunday surrounded by her family at home. Mrs. Andrews was born in Somerville. She is the wife of Daniel Andrews with whom she shared more than 48 years of marriage. She is a graduate of Cambridge Latin High School, class of 1958. In earlier years Mrs. Andrews worked as a Screener, employed by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue.
She was very talented in knitting & crocheting and taught this skill at the Medford Senior Center on Riverside Ave. for the past 4 or 5 years. She loved to cook, garden and travel. An avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, she rarely missed a game. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Daniel Andrews of Medford and his wife Jane, a daughter, Katherine (Andrews) Bilotas of Braintree and her husband Robert. Dear sister of Frank Gaffey of Wilmington and his wife Julie.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, Thursday at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 pm in the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main Street, Medford. Interment private.
