Obituary

Worcester—Harold E. Johnson, 82, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home. He was born in Worcester, son of Lena (Strom) and John Johnson. Harold worked in the forge shop at Wyman Gordon Co. for 35 years. He was a WWII veteran and served as an MP in the Philippines. Harold is survived by grandchildren Brian Monson and Chris Lawson, 7 great-grandchildren, good friend Ruth Mann, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Gertrude (Johnson), step-daughter Charlotte Monson, and siblings Eleanor Berube, Ellen Yard, Mildred Maniscalo, Evelyn Rosengren, George Johnson, and Melvin Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Please omit flowers.
