WOODCOCK, RUTH E. (BROOKS), 60, passed away Friday, November 6, 2009 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center.
She was born in Louisville, to Robert and Dorothy (Busch) Brooks. She was a cashier at Meijer and Target and was a member of Faith Chapel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother; her husband, Randall C. Woodcock and a daughter, Cassandra M. Woodcock.
Survivors include her father, Robert Brooks; a son, Scott A. Woodcock (Patty); a daughter, Miranda C. Birch (Steve); six grandchildren, Marlena, Seth, Mikeyla and Hailey Woodcock, Ashlie Birch, and Amber Key; three brothers, Robert Brooks and Ronnie and John Shuman; three sisters, Kathy Purcell, Pati Rainey and Vicky Copter and her aunt, Lauretta Farmer.
Memorial service: 1 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Cremation was chosen.
Memorial visitation: Sunday, 2 - 8 p.m. and Monday, 10 a.m.- 1 p.m.
