JAGGERS, Asa Aubrey, 85, passed away Wednesday (11/4/09) at Summerfield Nursing Home.
He was born in Brownsville, KY to Asa & Maude (Minton) Jaggers. He was retired Maintenance Dept at National Linens and was a WW II Army Veteran. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church & Valley Masonic Lodge # 511 F&AM.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, a brother: Arvil Jaggers, 2 Sisters: Lola Mae Hampton & Virginia Dunford.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Jean (Jones) Jaggers; 2 Sons: Robert C. Jaggers (Bobbie) & Ronnie Jaggers (Debbie). 2 Daughters: Helen Raymer (Wally) & Marilyn Steimaker (Don); a Step-Daughter: Pamela F. Thomas.9 Grandchildren, Several Great Grandchildren, 2 Step Grand Children, & 3 Step Great Grandchildren.
2 Brothers: Earl Jaggers (Sarah) & Bill E. Jaggers (Faye); 2 Sisters: Narvel Nealy & Jean Stohr (Kenny) and several nieces & nephews.
Funeral Services: Monday (11/09/09) 11:00 AM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial in
Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation: Sunday 2 - 8 PM & after 9 AM Monday.
