Methuen, Ma. – David Tryder, 55, died Sunday November 1, 2009 at his residence.
Born in Chelsea, Ma., David graduated from Chelsea High School class of “ 1973” and attended Boston State College.
David is the son of John J. and Helen Y. (Degurski) Tryder both living in Chelsea, Ma.
He was formerly employed as a Supervisor with Verizon of Boston and for many years was a bank auditor.
David had many involvements such as the Miss N.H. USA and Teen N.H. USA, the Miss N.Y. USA and Teen N.Y. USA Beauty Pageants. Was also associated with the Miss America Beauty Pageant systems, before entering the USA system.
A longtime Methuen resident David was a supporter of Methuen’s Festival of Trees event.
Among his parents he is survived by two brothers John J. and his wife Rosalind Tryder of Peabody, and Allen C. Tryder of Derry, NH. Survivors also include nieces and nephews: Cristen, Brendan, Kimberly, Jonathan and close friend Jane McCarthy of Windham, NH. and his former sister-inlaw Jacqueline Tryder of Derry, NH.
Funeral Services will take place on Monday morning at 10:30 from the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street of Methuen with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 5-9 P.M. at the funeral home.
