Worcester, MA – Irene M. Krampf, 98, formerly of Allegany, NY died on Sunday, November 1st in the Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Worcester, Massachusetts after an illness.
Irene was born in Allegany, NY on September 2, 1911 daughter of the late Joseph and Mary “Mae” (Jones) Krampf and is predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt and friend to many.
Ms. Krampf worked as an executive assistant for the Burroughs Wellcome Pharmaceutical Company in New York City. In 1970 Irene gave up her career to return home to Allegany, NY to care for her aging parents.
She is a graduate of St. Bonaventure High School in Allegany, NY and loved political debates and was an expert tailor and seamstress.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in the early spring followed by a burial of the urn in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
