WORCESTER__Beatrice R. (Plitnick) Mattrick, 91, formerly of 39 First St., died Sunday Aug. 31 in Radius Health Care Center, Millbury.
Her husband, John J. Mattrick, Sr., died in 1979.
She leaves a daughter, Patricia C. Hope of Nashua, N.H., two sons, John J. Mattrick of North Grafton and Francis X. Mattrick of Millbury; a sister, Ruth Powers of Holden; a sister-in-law, Sister Catherine Marie with the Sisters of St. Casimir in Chicago; 8 grandchildren, 9 geat-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. She was born in Stoughton, daughter of William and Vincenta (Shiplauskas) Plitnick and lived here most of her life. She was graduated from Commerce High School.
Mrs. Mattrick was a waitress many years for area catering companies and retired many years ago. She was a former member of St. Casimirs Church and the 39ers Club at Coes Pond Village.
The funeral will be held on Thursday Sept. 4, from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Casimirs Church, 41 Providence St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Wednesday Sept. 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
