Obituary

Gary Francis Foye, 58, of Manchester, died November 2, 2009 after a sudden illness.
He was born in Manchester on April 1, 1951, the son of Francis A. and Eleanor (McGranaghan) Foye Jr. He was educated in the local school system and was a 1969 graduate of Manchester Memorial High School. He served 6 years in the US Air Force Reserves.
For the past 39 years he has been employed by Public Service of New Hampshire, most recently as engineering standards coordinator.
He was an avid golfer and a dedicated father and husband. As his children grew up he enjoyed coaching at both Manchester North Little League and North Soccer.
Family members include his wife of 39 years, Mary (Larkin) Foye of Manchester; one daughter, Beth Jordan and her husband Garrett of Charlestown, MA; one son, Peter Foye and his wife Lisa of Chicago; four grandchildren, Piper and Liam Jordan, Megan and Cody Foye; his father and his wife, Francis A. Foye Jr. and Gloria (Bellerive) Foye of Lakeland, FL; his brothers, Brian Foye of Palm Bay, FL, Bruce Foye of Allenstown, and Kevin Foye of Hollis; his mother-in-law, Grace E. Tibbo of Goffstown; many uncles, aunts, sisters in law and brothers in law, nephews, nieces, and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Denise Duclos.
The Mass of Christian burial was Friday, November 6, 2009 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, corner of Webster and Hemlock Streets with the Rev. Marcel Allard officiating. Committal prayers followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
