Hortense Aubuchon 96, of 10 Rhodes Ave. died Friday at St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Edgar P. Aubuchon. Mrs. Aubuchon was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Ovide and Sarah (Fontaine) Ricard-Tessier. Mrs. Aubuchon studied at Elmhurst Academy in Providence and the Sorbonne in Paris. While in Europe, she also spent some time studying in Belgium. She was the co-founder along with her husband of the former Art Garment Co., working side by side in the running of their company. She enjoyed traveling and was a wonderful homemaker.
Mrs. Aubuchon is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Montcalm, Laval, and Chenier "Pete" Ricard-Tessier, and her identical twin sister Constance Lembre´e.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:30 in St. Joseph's Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory, to a charity of your choice, would be appreciated. Arrangements are under the directions of the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home.
