Obituary

Rose F. Aloisi, age 84 of Medford died Monday in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Medford. She is the wife of Frank Aloisi with whom she shared more than 61 years of marriage.Mrs. Aloisi was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Biagio and Ramona (Lattuca) Falzone. She is a graduate of South Boston High School, class of 1942. In earlier years she worked as a seamstress. She later worked for Commerce Union Insurance Company doing clerical work. Rose loved to dance and travel. She was a member of the former #160 Club of the American Legion in Medford. She was well known for her talent in sewing, knitting and crocheting. She also worked tirelessly for the City of Medford during election time in the voter registration booth in the polls. She and her husband loved to attend theatre but her most beloved activity was interacting with her grandchildren and great grandson. In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters: Joanne Donaldson and her husband Woody of FL., Rosanne DeFreitas and her husband Alan of Reading, Grandchildren John Donaldson and his wife Teresa, Erica DeFreitas and Margaret Donaldson. Great Grandmother of John Douglas Donaldson. Sister of Gerlanda Sperazzo of Medford, Theresa Sarcia and her husband James of FL. and Josephine Sarcia of Medford. Friends may call Thursday from 3 thru 7 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, A funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, Friday at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
