Obituary

Lucille (Willis) Watson, born Dec. 9, 1905 died Oct. 26, a day after her daughter Louise Kenyon.

A lifelong resident of Mystic, she was the wife of the late Floyd Watson whom she was married to for 62 years. She was the eldest of nine children to Carl and Mary Jane (Chesboro)Willis.

She loved gardening, quilting, embroidering, cooking and her family.

She is survived by her daughter and son-n-law Mildred and Charles Bray; brothers Carl, Hoover Willis; sister Mary Balestracci, 22 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 4 brothers Charles, Herb, Herschel & Hoyt Willis; a sister Iola Main; and daughters Alice Campbell, Ella Beaulieu and Louise Kenyon; and 4 grandchildren.

Special thanks to L&M hospital, Pendleton Nursing home and Hospice.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be conducted at Elm Grove Cemetery, Rte. 27, Mystic on Friday at 11am. The Rev. David Poole, Beacon Hospice Chaplain, will officiate for both Lucille and Louiseā€™s joint service.
