Raymond W. Orrell, age 74 of Somerset, passed away Oct. 26, 2009. Husband of Helen (Sousa) Orrell to whom he was married for 55 yrs and son of the late William and Rita (Petit) Orrell. Before retiring in 1982, he was a Facilities Manager at Country Gardens Nursing Home & previously a Foreman at the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of Korea.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his beloved daughter: Renee Orrell St Germain of No. Smithfield, RI. 5 Siblings: Rita Affonso of Oregon; Richard Orrell of CA; William Orrell of Las Vegas, NV; Robert Orrell of CA; & Patricia Stricklin of Michigan. Many nieces & nephews and Godchildren. He was also brother of the late John Orrell.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. on Thursday at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset. Calling hours Wednesday 5-8 P.M.
