FALL RIVER … Frances Oznick, 89, of Fall River died Saturday, October 24, 2009 at St. Anne’s Hospital.
She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Joseph and Rozalia (Skrzypek) Ozimek and had been a life long resident of this city.
She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Church, Fall River.
Ms. Oznick was a sewing machine operator at various mills in the city retiring in 1985 after 49 years of service.
Survivors include a sister Mary Weber of Fall River and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Josephine Benedetto, Veronica Viveiros, Helen Samarcos, Jennie Matthews, Louise Pobzeznik, Stanley Ozimek, Walter Ozimek, and John Ozimek.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Thursday at 9AM from the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway, Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at St. Stanislaus Church, Rockland Street, Fall River. Calling hours Wednesday 5 – 7 PM. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Kindly omit flowers.
