Patricia C. (McGonagle) Norton, of Canton formerly of South Boston passed away October 19, 2009 at the Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, Ct. Born and raised in South Boston, Patricia attended St. Brigid School, and was a 1953 graduate of Emanuel College where she earned her Bachelors Degree in education. She went on to earn her Masters Degree in Education from Boston State College. Mrs. Norton taught third grade at the Franklin D. Roosevelt School in Hyde Park for over 40 years, she retired in 1994. Beloved wife of the late Michael F. Sr. Loving mother of Michael F. Jr. & his wife Karen of Portland, CT. & Daniel T. & his wife Ellen of Norwood. Loving Nana of Caroline & Olivia both of Portland, CT & Timothy, MaryPat & Meg all of Norwood. Sister of Kenneth “Bud” McGonagle of Dedham, Marie Marshman, Kathy Rae, & Janice Aughe all of S. Boston, and the late Donald, Paul, Daniel & Robert McGonagle. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and her dear friends at the Julia Ruth House.
