Nicholson, Guy W. “Nick” Jr., 72, passed away Friday (10/16/09) at his residence.
He was born in Louisville, KY to Guy W. & Ruth J. (Cranna) Nicholson Sr. He was a retired Dispatcher for Insight Communication and was a Baptist. He was a U. S. Army Veteran, a KY Colonel, member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Scout Master for Troop 2 and an avid woodworker & genealogist.
He was preceded in death by his Parents.
Survivors include his wife & friend of 49 years, Betty (Manion) Nicholson; 1 Son: David A. Nicholson (Theresa A.);
3 Daughters: Pamela L. Martin (Dennis L.), Tammy L. Lindsey (John W.), and Kimberly J. Sullivan;12 Grandchildren: Jillian, Monica, Jon, Justin, Jeremy, Jared, Jordan, Jamie, Jaycee, Jessica, Aymee, & Alex. 3 Great Grandchildren: Mason, Madison, & Aubree. 1 Brother: Bobby Nicholson (Melinda); 2 Sisters: Jenny Turner & Debbie Harmon.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday 7:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with Memorial Visitation:
3 – 7 PM Tuesday.
Cremation was chosen.
