Zerveskes, Vincent A. 92 of South Boston, MA died peacefully Thursday, October 15,2009 at The Bayview Assisted Living, in South Boston, MA. Son of the late Vincent J.& Mary (Simanavich) Zerveskes.Vincent(Vinny) owned the Columbus Tavern in South Boston. He was a happy go lucky guy with many friends. His family was very important to him. Greta the family parrot kept him amused. He was a loyal fan of the Red Sox and Patriots. Those that have been touched by Vinny, will have a special memory. He is survived by a devoted wife Frances A. (Platkas) , sisters Mildred & husband Frank Brennan of Braintree & the late Stella Zerveskes, Son Vincent Zerveskes and wife Sharon, daughter Judith A. Powers,4 grand children, Timothy V. Connor and wife Andra of Peoria IL, Lisa and husband Christopher Beck of Auburn AL, Daryl F. Zerveskes & wife Lydia of Canterbury NH, Troy V. Zerveskes and wife Kelly of Newmarket NH, and the late Scott W. Connor, also survived by 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Visiting Hours at the Joseph W.
