Sidney E. “Sid” Walters, Jr., 69, of Windham, NH died unexpectedly Tuesday, Oct. 13th at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. He was born on January 27, 1940 and was the son of Sidney and Dorothy (Dinsmore) Walters.
Sid was a resident of Windham where he grew up and attended local schools. He was a lifelong car racing fan. As a young adult, he raced at tracks in southern New Hampshire in his blue “04” stock car. He worked as an auto mechanic and in the local construction industry.
He is survived by his daughters Kerry Ann Naumowicz and Dawn Marie Oreo. He was predeceased by his son David. He has seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
At his request, there will be no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
