Jack (Jacob) Kaplan of Boca Raton, FL died on October 12, 2009. He was 98 years old. Jack was the beloved husband of the late Rebecca (Waldman) Kaplan.
Jack was born in Poland and attended the Revere schools and high school. Jack attended Middlesex College in Waltham and further pursued his education at the Patrick School of Pharmacy. Jack was the owner of Winter Hill Drug Company. Jack was a member of the Massachusetts Pharmacy Society, Congregation Ahabat Sholom of Lynn and the Aleppo Shriners. He was also a mason and life member at the Valley of Boston AASR Northern Masonic Jurisdiction.
Jack was the devoted father of Stephen J. Kaplan and his friend Phyllis Weprin. He was the dear brother of the late Myer Kaplan, Charlotte Snow, Esther Kaplan, and Goldie Snow. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Graveside service at Sharon Memorial Park, Canton St., Sharon on Friday, October 16 at 11:45 AM. Memorial observance at the home of David Snow on Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM. Contributions in Jack’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
